Renowned as one of South America's finest talent factories, the club developed James Rodriguez and many other internationals, and plays in the Categoria Primera A while sustaining a celebrated youth academy.
Once Caldas is a Colombian football club from Manizales, a city high in the coffee-growing mountains of central Colombia. The club stunned South America by winning the Copa Libertadores in 2004, beating Boca Juniors in the final, and plays at the Estadio Palogrande. It is the great footballing name of the Caldas coffee region.
