Talleres de Córdoba is one of the biggest football clubs in the interior of Argentina, based in the city of Córdoba. A club with an enormous support that has become a regular force in the Primera División and the Copa Libertadores, it plays at the Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes. Nicknamed La T, it represents Argentina's second city, far from the traditional power base of Buenos Aires.
Vélez Sarsfield is one of the great football clubs of Argentina, based in the Liniers district of Buenos Aires. A multiple national champion and the winner of the Copa Libertadores and Intercontinental Cup in a glorious 1994, the club plays at the Estadio José Amalfitani and is renowned for its excellent youth academy. It commands a large and loyal following in the west of the capital.
