AB Gladsaxe, formally Akademisk Boldklub (AB), is a historic Danish football club based in Gladsaxe, in the Copenhagen area. Founded in 1889, it is one of Denmark's oldest and most successful clubs, having won the Danish championship nine times, though those titles largely came in earlier eras of Danish football. The club plays at Gladsaxe Stadium and, after its golden age, has spent recent decades in the lower divisions while retaining a proud place in the country's football history.
