GKS Tychy is a Polish football club from Tychy, in the Silesia region south of Katowice. The club competes in the I liga, the second tier of Polish football, and plays at the Miejski Stadion, representing a planned industrial city built up in the communist era. Tychy, a planned socialist-era city, also has a strong ice-hockey tradition alongside its football club.
