Club Tijuana, nicknamed the Xolos, is a Mexican football club from Tijuana, a bustling city on the border with the United States. In a spectacular rise the club won the Liga MX title in 2012, only a few years after its foundation, and reached the Copa Libertadores. Named after the hairless Xoloitzcuintle dog, it plays at the Estadio Caliente and represents Mexico's north-western frontier.
