Fluminense FC is a Brazilian football club from Rio de Janeiro, founded in 1902 and one of the country's traditional giants. Nicknamed the Tricolor, the club plays its biggest matches at the Maracana and, in 2023, won the Copa Libertadores for the first time, adding to numerous Brazilian and Rio state titles. It contests the Fla-Flu derby with Flamengo and develops players whose transfers command major fees.
