Rio Ave FC is a Portuguese football club from Vila do Conde, a coastal town just north of Porto in the north of Portugal. A settled member of the Primeira Liga in recent years, the club has qualified for European competition and plays at the Estádio dos Arcos. It represents a fishing and shipbuilding town at the mouth of the Ave river.
