Adamstown Rosebud Football Club is an Australian soccer club based in the Newcastle suburb of Adamstown, in New South Wales. Founded in 1889, it is widely recognised as the oldest National Premier Leagues club in Australia, giving it an unusually long history in the game. The club plays its home matches at Adamstown Oval and competes in the National Premier Leagues Northern NSW, the top tier of the region's football pyramid and part of the second level of the wider Australian system. Its honours include the 1984 NSL Cup, won under its former identity of Newcastle Rosebud United, alongside numerous regional premierships gathered over more than a century of competition.
