Elgin City FC is a Scottish football club from Elgin, in Moray in the north-east. Playing at Borough Briggs, the club spent decades in the Highland League before joining the Scottish Professional Football League, where it competes in the lower divisions, representing its cathedral town. Its long wait to join the senior leagues ended in 2000, when Elgin and Peterhead were elected from the Highland League into the Scottish set-up.
